The worst pediatrician I have ever been to!!! Not only did I have to just about beg to get my child an appointment, we had to wait in the lobby for 1-1/2 hours AFTER our appointment time, even though we were early. The nurses were funny, friendly, and helpful. Then the doctor came in, told me my child has allergies, ignored me when I told her that when she runs fever, she has seizures, told he that she is just doing that for attention, prescribed some zytrec, and walked out the door. Turns out she had bacterial pneumonia and is now undergoing testing to get to the bottom of the seizures. But as a mom, I do my research first, if I've tried everything OTC and every home remedy, then I call the doctor. The doctor should be an expert. They should be helpful, have answers, reassure, and at least appear to care about their patients. This woman is a quack. I would not allow her to treat a pet rock let alone a human child.....

No, they never mentioned anything about child safety or nutrition

No, they usually don't see my child for at least a week

Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond

A little, it was faint but I noticed one

Yes, it never fails. I'm put on hold forever when I call

Sometimes, I felt a little ridiculed

I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places

No, they never made me feel like a bad parent

My 10m old daughter had been sick for a few days so finally I started to worry. When I took her temp it was 105.4!! I started freaking out so I called Pecan Creek Pediatric and the told me it was no big deal. They laughed at me when, in my panic, I told them I took her temp with a digital thermometer in her butt. They said they couldnt get her in for a few hours so I called the nearest ER and they said to bring her in ASAP. She was treated for an ear infection. A few weeks later I tried to take her to their office because of another high fever and they told me I had been discharged because I missed 2 appointments... 1 because they made me wait 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time so I had to leave for another appointment, and the other when I took my daughter to the ER! I would avoid this place AT ALL COSTS! Staff is unprofessional and rude and apparently dont care about kids.

this is the worst place in town to take your babies. you will have to wait at least an hr to be seen, and spend about 3hrs before you leave for a rude harris to come in for 5 min. the nurses there do everything from shots to weight, one of which is very rude, thinks she funny but shes not! front desk is the only good experience i have had here. a visit should be planned atleast 1 mth in advance or your not getting in! and if your child is sick, most of the time there is a 3-4 day wait. i was told last week i would have to wait till the following monday, and it was a monday i called! the last time my toddler needed to be seen for ear infections they couldnt see us for a few days so i had to take her to er and was done within the hr! this place needs changes, like doc changes! pediatric doc but yet if your child is crying she is the rudest witch of the west! avoid this place like the plague!
