I went to see Dr. Bergeson after I got married for a bladder infection. He wasn't friendly; but I figured that he was okay enough. After a few weeks I had to go back because my bladder infection had returned and was worse. I was in a LOT of pain, bleeding, and really miserable when I made it into his office. His staff was friendly and sympathetic.
HE on the other hand was a JERK. He came in and said, "Usually people get bladder infections after they get married because they are becoming sexually active. Clearly you guys need to tone it down!" I was humiliated beyond belief. He gave me another antibiotic and it still didn't help. I was to humiliated to go back so I went to a new doctor who sent me to a urologist. Come to find out, the lining of my bladder is VERY thin which makes me very prone to bladder infections and bladder infection symptoms. It has nothing to do with "needing to tone IT down." My urologist was very upset that Dr. Bergeson said that to me, and now I refuse to ever go back to him.
