I didn't have a problem with Dr. Winward until the end of my pregnancy. She was leaving town a few days after my due date (I was still pregnant) and refused to induce me before she left. I ended up having to deliver with a different doctor I had never met. Then at my six week follow-up appointment she brushed off all the concerns I was having. I was still experiencing some major pain, especially during my exam, but she kept saying, "Well you shouldn't. Everything looks fine." During that follow-up appointment she never once asked me how my delivery went or what happened. I had a very difficult delivery, so that's probably why I was having pain! She didn't seem to care, though. Very disappointed!

Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. I really felt comfortable and secure in their care. The equipment was safe and well taken care of and appeared to be pretty sophisticated. I wasn't greeted at all when I entered their office. I could tell they noticed I walked in, but they still didn't acknowledge me.

The following is the draft that wellness put together for me. It pretty much sums up this office. I had the FIRST appointment of the day at 8 am. I was there at 7:40. I didn't get called into a room until 8:30. then waiting 20 more minutes only to have Tracys PA visit me instead. The total time of the appointment was 15 minutes. I finally left my 8 am appointment (which I arrived 20 minutes early to at their request) around 9:10. After this happened several times I switched offices.

I realize that as an OB sometimes things get pushed back, babies aren't delivered based on a clock, but come ON time after time I wait more than an hour only to be rushed through an appointment.

Also, I have heard from several friends that tracy pressured them into an induction 39-40 weeks pregnant. Maybe someone needs to tell her that babies come when their ready and the average first baby doesn't come until 41 weeks and 3 days. Also she uses pit ROUTINELY (meaning doesn't ask your permission and does it even without a medical indication) for placenta delivery.

Basically I would use ANY other ob in town.

It never fails how long I have to wait on hold when I call them. I'm always put on hold forever and I find myself not even wanting to call. I waited quite a while to get a call regarding my test results. I thought they were never going to call; pretty slow system. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. They are WAY overbooked and the staff is clearly overworked and not always that pleasant. I've never been in there when the waiting rooms weren't packed with a bunch of very aggravated people. They seem to be more concerned about quantity of business over quality. I didn't feel particularly respected during my visit. They didn't really go out of their way to be nice.
