Dr. Lawrence and his assistant seem to have become very jaded. As soon as I made the decision not to have the surgery at this time(because of noticeable improvement in my back) they treated me as though I was sub-human and was just wasting their time. I needed to have Dr. Lawrence fill out my Aflac paperwork but after I told them I wasn't going to have the procedure his assistant said they were not goin to do it because I wasn't having the surgery, even though they had already charged me an additional $5 to fill it out! After a debate with his very rude assistant she said they would fill it out but it wouldn't be ready for 2 days. When I went to pick it up I examined it and noticed that the forms were not filled out correctly. After bringing this to his assistants attention she refused to fix it because I was no longer his patient. I insisted that I speak with Dr. Lawrence and when he finally took the time to speak with me he was nothing but a hot headed arrogant jerk, who basically wanted nothing more to do with me and suggested I just take my money back because he wasn't goin to fix his mistakes. If you are looking for a surgeon who actually cares about his patients and is not just looking at you like a dollar sign then I would not recommend Dr. Lawrence!

STAY AWAY !!!! I had cervical spinal surgery and was treated very bad post op... Doc went on vacation next day. A second Dr. filled in..... "I took surgery really hard !.... Could not move arms past my waist for two months, due to PAIN! "I also ended up with VERTIGO for 8+ months due to nerve damage in neck after surgery as well....Also when rushed to my local ER, the Fourth Corner fill-in Dr. when called ,over the phone had insinuated, "I just wanted pain medication ! "I was given one prescription for pain which was to be a couple weeks of minimal discomfort and back to work....however, "I ended up having to go to Seattle University", for extensive test and try to repair the damage.......DON'T GO TO THESE QUACKS! "OR YOU MAY END UP A QUAD!
I eventually became 100% DISABLED ! "PLEASE seek more info. from prior patients as well as their experiences and condition to-date! "I am 46 yrs.old".....I was also told from several Neurosurgeons, "I was very lucky"... after they had discovered who the surgeon was, and place I had been treated !.."They new them quite well, from many other victims!

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. The doctor seemed not ready for my visit. I was seeing the doctor for a neck injury, He could not find records, He acted upset and was red in the face. I was uncofortable and worried about my care. In this visit He asked more about who i lived with verses my injury. My injury is in my midback and neck. I have had dizzy spells, blurred vision, numbness down both arms, pain in neck and chest, thyroid problems. When i twist to the right I have pain and cramping in the mid back and can not take a breath in untill i straiten up. I have had problems with my heart powding after these injurys, I am on thyroid medicine it helps. Doctor michael lawrence has stated that ther is no inpairment or disability. All i can say is I cant do the things i could befor. I think i need a different doctor, that wants to know more about my conditions verses who i live with. Thanks nate
