Dr. Gentry is experienced and a good doctor. He has managed my care for over 10 years now. I feel like I'm living a healthy & happy life due to his expertise on depression medications. He also returns calls and it's been easy to get appointments. Thankfully I just check in yearly now for prescription renewal and a quick chat! I'm so glad I found this doctor when I needed help most!

Dr. Gentry is extremely knowledgeable about psychotherapy, psychopharmaceuticals, counseling, and he is extremely compassionate. He has a calm and comfortable demeanor and is a good listener. His suggested plans of action after a visit include not only written prescription, but lifestyle modifications that draw from all the areas that make a person whole: your environment at home or work, your nutrition, your spirituality (if applicable), exercise, mindfulness, and recreation. He is a good source of referrals to other specialists when needed.

Somewhat, but it's still difficult to get an appointment

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. I wouldn't feel safe under anyone else's care. They are one of the few psychiatrists I trust. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.
