The waiting area is comfortable. Waiting times are incredibly long. No one seems to care. The staff, in general, is extremely rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Dr. Barnebey is more focused on making money and having people come back for multiple unnecessary appointments (presumably to bill insurance more frequently) than in true patient care. My medication was changed without even a courtesy call to let me know what was going on. They do not return calls promptly. Someone answers calls and "screens" them - she is rude. I wish I could remember the name of the office person who didn't listen to my concerns, talked over me, and told me she wouldn't be able to help me because it was too close to closing time! Stay far, far away from this practice. After being a long-time patient (more like a "client"), I have finally had enough and will be taking my "business" to another practice..

I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. I have never seen a coupon for this provider, nor do they ever have specials or promotions going on. I don't think they like to help people save money. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care.

Just a pretentious setting, staff and doctor. It wasn't worth my time. Suggested old treatment strategies. Does not have the patience to answer patient questions. Don't get fooled with your first encounter with administrative staff. They will rope you in and then let you down. The doctor was arrogant and would get up and walk away. Has no compassion. They are up on collecting their money. I went to Jules Stein Eye center, after I dropped him and my eye has never felt better. Howard Barnaby was a waste of time and money for me.
