I presented to Dr. Kunstman with a history of Transversemyalitis, a severe neurological condition that causes paralysis. My symptoms included fever, severe weight loss, numbness, weakness, widespread pain. He diagnosed it as a "slipped disk". Hard to believe but true. Would not admit me to the hospital or order tests. I was eventually admitted to the hospital, 3 weeks later and too late to treat the neurological symptoms. It was like talking to a frat boy about severe medical issues. Remarkable, and I'll never be the same.
