I saw Dr. Churner for the first time, as he was filling in for my regular ophthalmologist. I had a panic attack during the exam and had to leave the room. (He had done nothing to precipitate the panic attack.) When I returned, he came back in, was extremely patient and kind, explained some things to me, answered all my questions and we were able to complete my exam. I am grateful for how he handled the situation.

Dr. Churner is awesome. After my husband's cataract surgery, I referred the mother of a friend who is an Alzheimer's patient and he was very patient and compassionate with her and throughly explained the reasons cataract surgery for her would not be a good option.
