My mother just spent 2 days in valley west community hosp and I can only say unless she is on her deathbed she will not go back and once she is stable she will be transferred as soon as possible. The Nurses are incompetent in the med surge unit, they do not follow MD orders but are then backed by the lying MD when you question why something hasn't been done that you know the MD ordered. And when you contact the hospital liaison you get a 3 hour discharge the next night where any meds are not able to be ordered for the patient because the pharmacy is now closed. I have never come across such horrible behavior from a hosp, but I am sure the bill will be in the mail on time. If I could choose no stars I would!
