This facility in unequipped to accommodate heavy set patients. They neither care or would just rather not attend to these patients. Beware of marketing schemes or tempting offers. This facility has unempathetic employees and the facility smells horrendous.

Horrible rehab center. My mother was sent there after a hospital stay, the nurses were rude and unhelpful. They messed up her medication doses, didn't feed her dinner one night because she is vegetarian, they did not change her very often, when she asked for help, the nurse or aid turned and looked at her and said, I already helped you! Also,y mom's boyfriend stopped by to visit one morning and heard her choking all the way down the hall, he ran to her room and there was not one person in sight. My brother took her to his home within a couple of miserable days.

Grandmother was sent here for rehab. Only agreed to leave her temporally. Nurses rough, uneducated, and rude. Grandmother did not make it to her 20 day stay, she pressed call button in early a.m. hours and staff said not respond it time. She ended up passing away before they got to her. She only needed rehab and ended up passing away.....unacceptable for any family to have to go through.

MOTHER WAS SENT HERE FROM HOSPITAL,WITHOUT MY CONCENT.SOME OF THE STAFF WAS NOT CONCERENED WITH MY MOTHERS NEEDS. UNABLE TO WALK HAD TO WAIT 2 HOURS FOR BED PAN. WAS SERVED WATERED DOWN JUICE AND WRONG ITEMS ON FOOD TRAY, DID NOT MATCH DIET ORDER. ONLY GOT 10 MIN. OF THERAPY IN 3 DAYS SHE WAS THERE. HAD TO WAIT FOR NURSE AFTER PUSHING CALL BUTTON.
MOTHER CALLED ME CRYING ALL THE TIME,WITH BACK PAINS FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. SOCIAL WORKER TRIED TO MAKE THINGS BETTER BUT NO MATTER WHAT HE SAID MY MOTHER WAS VERY VERY UNHAPPY.HIRE STAFF WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF PATIENTS AND NOT BE ON CELL PHONES.
MOVED MOTHER TO ANOTHER SKILLED NURSING FACILITY,AND CRIED WITH HAPPYNESS TO BE OUT OF BUENA VIDA. NOW SHE WILL GET THE THERAPY AND CARE THAT SHE NEEDS.GOD HELP THE STAFF AT BUENA VIDA,WHO DID NOT CARE FOR MY MNOTHER AND HOPE YOUR LOVED ONES DO NOT GO THRU WHAT MY MOTHER WENT THRU!!!!!!!!!! YOUR NOT WORTH 1 STAR

Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. There definitely appears to be a trend of under caring and underfeeding patients here. They lost my sister's medications, and the orderlies and administrative staff are uncaring and fraudulent. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. Every time I've called and left a message, I've never heard back. It's extremely annoying.

Certain administration tried to make it seem like my father refused them to do their job but they didn't try another approach. I was told that he refused to do things they asked and that he couldn't be forced. The day shift just didn't want to be bothered. I will defintely let people know not to send a love one to that nursing home. I am not looking for a perfect nuring home but I do expect respect. I removed my dad from there and noone in the admistration said a word and he had been there since April. I am going to call the military base that has this nursing home on a list for veteran's to have a choice where to go, I am definitely going to request them either to remove them or send a state representative to randomly audit the facility..

They do not keep the restrooms well-stocked here. No paper towels, toilet paper, or even a toilet seat cover! I had nothing to clean up with. I am not going to refer my family and friends here. I just wasn't that impressed. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in. the staff is rude AND seem confused and rushed
