Nasty Nurses, filthy place, uncaring, one aide to each unit. Run the other way when some one recommends Bartley. My sibling was abused many times. Had to wait for a change of clothes 45 mins to one hr. while sitting in mess. The owners do not do their job. How do they get 5 stars?

Lousy place. Very bad experience. My dad was there because he had to have a toe amputated. He needs to have a valve replaced in his heart and has trouble breathing. They gave him oxygen at night so that he could sleep. When he was discharged, they were supposed to offer a visiting nurse, oxygen, meals on wheels, etc. They never offered any of these and when called on it, they put in his chart that he refused them. He could not refuse something that he was never offered. Now they are arguing with us. My mother and her insurance company have filed a Quality of care grievance that gets sent to Medicare. Now they will be investigated. If I don't get answers from them soon, then we go to my lawyer.

Had a very bad experience with my mom. Her well being degraded so bad during her 6 week stay. Had her evaluated by a private nurse. My mom was so over medicated. Removed her from Bartley to a private facility. Had her meds lowered and readjusted. Though she is nearing end of life, her quality of life has improved so much beyond what Bartley could provide her. Just a warning to others, Bartley was an extremely bad place for our loved one.

My mother was there for rehabilitation after a hospital stay. She had mild dementia in addition to physical problems. When she checked in I told them she had dentures which she would need assistance with. By the next day they had lost her lower denture and took no responsibility for replacing it. They gave her some physical therapy in the morning and left her either in bed or a wheel chair the rest of the day. When I asked why her physical therapy was not spaced out throughout the day they had no answer. There were scheduled entertainment activities but she was never taken to them unless I was there and took her. When I inquired about why whe was not taken they said she didnt ask to go. My telling them that socialization was good for her didnt matter - they did what was easiest for them. They eventually told me she was not making progress and never would. They released her in a wheel chair and unable to toilet herself. I took her home. Within weeks, with the help of a home health aid and a physical therapist who came to the house once a week, she was walking with a walker and toileting herself. The only good thing I can say about Bartley is that it was always clean.

Excellent care. My mom was very pleased - she even referred 2 of her friends there. Always able to answer the family's questions when we came to visit. Extremely clean and food was actually very good! Rehab was great too, along with the nursing care. There were even activities for rehab patients to do, which was good mom is very social. Great customer service. Overall great stay! Mom is home and doing great.
