I had a stroke at Belmont Terrace one morning and nobody called 911. The hospital is only a few blocks away and nobody helped me. I wanted help. They didn't care about me at all.
My mother had a stroke at Belmont one morning, and no one helped her. She was trying to talk to the nurse but couldn't be heard and she couldn't swallow. No one called 911 and the hospital is only 3 minutes away. She lived there for 7 years and they should have seen a difference in her that AM. She was happy and always nice to all of the staff and they let her down. The stroke unattended did too much strain on her and 2 1/2 weeks later she passed away. Its very sad and she is missed greatly. She could have and shold have survived if any of the nurses or aides had called 911.
