My mother was in the nursing home for rehab. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Everyone was friendly . A little miss communication now and then, but overall I was very pleased. My visiting family also commented how nice everyone was and how clean the home was. You cannot always go by the reviews, as we found out first hand.

Horrible miserable staff most of the time. I just feel like people are neglected and there is very little joy in that place. I hate going..it makes me sad every time to be leaving my loved one there.

This place is so sub-standard. No one cares. The residents ask for help or service and no one responds. My dad developed a bed sore that the nurses said was smaller than a dime. Dad ended up at another facility needing surgery for a bed sore that was down to the bone. My uncle died when he tried to go to the bathroom himself because no one would answer his call to help. No one cares.

This place should be shut down! My mother-in-law was held hostage for several weeks. The dr. said she could go home, but she needed a hospital bed and wheelchair at home and the dr. could not be found anywhere for a week to sign the prescriptions so she could get the home med items. Of course, she was private pay, so they wanted to keep her as long as they could to make the extra money. The dr. refused to return any phone calls and even the social worker could not find him. The nurses were surly and provided very little care. There was supposed to be rehab, but none was done until I visited then they showed up to make meager attempts at doing something. The dietary needs were not addressed at all and giving someone who is vomiting for several days solid food is ridiculous! Diet was not changed to liquids until I insisted. Bathing and bathroom events were non existent. I wouldn't send my dog to this facility.

They must not be too picky about who they hire. A woman who lives down the street from me went from a nursing home in Orangeville to BRV about 3 yrs ago. Dont know what the circumstances were only that there was a break between the two jobs. She is an alcoholic with an EXPLOSIVE temper. I shudder to think she is caring for elderly folks.

hat place is a joke. They treat the residents like dogs and they do not get the care that is needed. The rehab they receive also does no good and when they do get rehab the residents are subjected to hours and hours of rehab they come and get that certain person numerous times a day and wear the resident out til they pretty much have no energy left or there pain level is so high from over excercising. The employees are constantly rude to residents and to one other. Employees there get no respect what so ever from anyone. The residents there are very rude to employees as are employees to the residents. The rooms are flithy and very unorganized. They do not follow procedures in any sence of the word. The food taste horrible and is the same thing time after time no variety what so ever. Do not take your family,relatives, friends to this facility they will not be treated with any respect and what the employees go through from the management makes it a hostile place to be.

Too bad this facility is the only game in town. The service and care is far below acceptable. They wait far too long when residents have a physical problem and need to see a physician. The facility is NOT clean. Garbage is on the floor around every trash can. Staff misses trash can/doesn't pick up trash. Staff does not respond to call bells. Staff turnover is huge.
