My mom had a stroke on Christmas Eve. She was sent from the hospital to Kessler of Saddle Brook than Care One in Teaneck because the hospital had told us they came highly rated. We never thought of looking around BIG MISTAKE! Both facility never made us feel welcomed & seemed far more interested in how we were paying than how they could help my mom recover. After seeing my frustration my wife decided to look at Alaris Health at Rochelle Park. We were greeted by Rebecca, a social worker, who sat us down, explained their program and said what can we do for you and meant every word! We immediately put in for a transfer! Care One had set up the transfer but on a day I could not take off to accompany my mother! I called Alaris and asked for the Administration Director. Michele immediately moved the transfer to Saturday so neither myself or my wife would have to miss work! We knew immediately that Alaris Heath at Rochelle Park was nothing like Care One or Kessler they actually cared about their patients & their families! If you are looking for a immaculately clean rehab/nursing home where EVERYONE will greet you with how can I help you & really mean it, than look no more. From the administration, social workers, rehab crew, nurses/aides, they will think of everything and then say can we do more. Another VERY important factor to us was supervision & safety measures! Alaris has far more procedures in place to assure supervision & safety than either rehab my mom was in! The only regret I have is that my mom did not come here straight from the hospital!

Our Mom just passed after almost 6 years at Bristol Manor (now Alaris). Communication with our family was excellent, her needs and care were very well met, and if there was an issue, it was attended to immediately by all the trained/caring staff. The facility is very clean and comfortable, and they seem to be even improving on making it welcoming for all family /friends visiting. Cannot mention everyone by name, as there are many, but everyone truly cared for Mom over these years; especially on her final day there.

The facility was immaculately cleaned. The staff was courteous and professional. The administrative and social worker (Wayne) was on top of everything. Meals were outstanding, no complaints. The best part of my stay had to be the RNs, CNAs, and Physical Therapy team. I owe them a lot of thanks and gratitude for working so hard with and for me. I really appreciate all that was done for me. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone and if I need it again, I would recommend it for myself.

My mother in law is presently a resident at the facility. We would like to mention her aides mercedes and rose. I like her nurse antonetta as well. The administrator was very responsive and prompt when we spoke with him about a problem. He was patient and understanding to us.

My Mother just recently passed away. She was here for about 5 yrs. Although she was well taken care of I thought they could've done more. They could've looked in on her more and noticed any changes in her But I understand that you are understaffed and had other residents to attend to.. Some of the nurses and aids were really nice and took care of her. They did the best they could under these circumstances. I thank you all for taking care of her. I was always kept in the loop about her condition and I know she was in good hands there.

Staff at Bristol Manor: 6/17/2015

I would like to thank all of you for the kind and attentive treatment to my grandma. Having a love one in a strange place away from the family is always a stressful situation but you made it an easier time with your professionalism and compassion.
Having been to several of the rehab places in the Bergen area I can honestly say you guys are the best. From the nursing staff on floor # 2 who were excellent and never complained about our requests or concerns.
The management staff, administrator Roy was amazing taking his personal time to make sure grandma went to dinner and events where else do you see that?? Amazing person. Director of Social Service Wayne was always around to address any concerns and needs. Director of Rehab Danuta and of her staff were excellent. It is not an easy job working in that setting but I can honestly say your compassion and care for people is second to none.
Michelle in admissions always made sure grandma was happy and was a great listener made grandma always feel like there was someone there who cared. Thank You

And last but certainly not least Gary and rehab people they are the best. Gary is the most patient passionate man who really cares about his job. My grandmother can’t stop talking about him and his care. He is the best…

Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring. You are an amazing group of people..

I have had several family members at this facility. I would recommend it gladly. The staff are caring and attentive. The care is very good. I recently visited a neighbor and was happy to see the changes to the lobby, dining room !!! It's beautiful.! It is really a place I would recommend.
