This is the nastiest place I’ve every seen. The bathrooms stink visible feces under the commode lid. Floors always sticky garbage cans always cool when you ask housekeeping to clean your room they have added tools had to be reported. CNA‘s not Trained properly & over worked. Not enough care is shown to Residence. When I ask for help or something that the patient needs often we are told I’ll get you when I have time we are understaffed. There were a few cna’s that helped and a few nurses but the night crew was terrible. My mother uses a Ileostomy bag and no one knew how to properly put one one so for 2 months she laid in a poopy mess for hours some nights. Every thing is very old the beds the Equipment the fixtures the heating and cooling system the paint and even the crevices around the walls are cracked and shedding paint. What really hurt was the Attitudes when asked for help. I end up removing her before time because we couldn’t take the conditions any longer

Coosa valley health and rehab is the most filthy facility I have ever been in. The nurses are severely overworked and the cnas while a few are caring mostly behave as if they are bothered if you need them. The administration staff treat nurses horribly. I would not recommend this facility.

Two visits...two completely different experiences. First time was for a respite visit and everything was perfect....Staff excellent, Cleanliness, excellent...couldn't have been happier with them...Second time..one year later...second time ever I attempted respite...staff didn't seem to care...crammed into room with another patient whose equipment took up most of the room..Didn't feed her...didn't give meds from all indication as everything she was sent with came back in full....By second DAY I knew I was not leaving loved one in their "non care"...won't go back....
