My brother stayed there for 2 weeks, while I took some respite time for myself. the staff just loved him ,and told him so. they were very attentive to his needs, as he cannot speak, due to a stroke. very friendly staff. He said he liked it there. So if for any reason you need to put a loved one in a nursing home, I would highly recommend Countryside Estates in Cherokee, Iowa. They also invited us to come in for a tour before we decided. Showed us, and told us everything of each area in the facility. Thank You to ALL STAFF
