My father was sent here after an accident. At first the staff seems very friendly, but once the patient is settled in things quickly go down hill. The toilet that my dad shared with another patient didn't work well. When it overflowed it took 24 hours of us nagging to get them to unclog it. When I was finally fed up and asked for a transfer, I was told the insurance company denied it. After calling the insurance company I found that they had never bothered to put in the request. After hours on the phone, the insurance agency finally called the home directly- where they blamed my family for not filling out paperwork that we had never been informed about. It still took three days of bird dogging and nagging and pestering on my part to get them to turn in the paperwork. I have never been so relieved to leave a building. This is a place of forgotten patients, most families do not have the time and energy to fight back against these bullies.

They seemed like they were using fairly modern treatment methods in some fields. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions, as long as it is before 5pm. There are times when I've been there, that I feel like they're favoring certain clients. It's not all the time, but I don't appreciate it when it happens. They do seem to be short staffed on some shifts.
