The staff was wonderful, but the facility was filthy. My carpet was very stained and nasty, I was afraid to go barefoot while I was there. I asked to have the carpet cleaned and they did do it right away. I had a terrible problem with ants everywhere. One night I found my toothpaste tube covered with ants!!! Nasty. There were cockroaches and centipeds also in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was dirty, mopped daily but with dirty water from the other rooms. There was nasty dirt in the corners of the floor. Before you put a loved one in here, check out the cleanliness in the room where they will stay. Every weekend they ran out of my pain meds and borrowed from another patients meds. Said he wasn't taking them and they would replace them with mine when my script came in!!! The staff did what had to be done to get me what I needed, but it was uncalled for, and illegal. The social worker was very rude and her actions were unprofessional. Thank goodness I gotto come home!!!

I used to work here as one of the CNA staff. The staff is CONSTANTLY overworked and the nurses/DON/ADON do not care that the CNAs are overworked and will constantly ignore them when a resident asks for help and the CNA cannot provide. They have the CNAs work double shifts and 12 hour shifts all the time. Everyone is always frustrated and tired and cannot provide proper care for the residents. The higher ups will not provide care for the residents either. I felt really bad for the residents when I worked there and did my best to care for them, but I couldn't be on all halls at once. I would rather a loved one die than be stuck in this place. They also claim to have nice rooms and activities, but they have neither. The rooms are dirty and they never do activities for the residents. The residents spend most of their time sitting around reading their OWN magizines/books or watching whatever program the NURSE wants to watch from the nursing station.
