I would not recommend this facility for anyone. The "professional" staff does not listen to the family that actually knows the resident and the resident's 'normals'. My loved one was left all night without a call light and yelled all night to get some help and no one came to assist. Resident almost bled to death due to no one checking on him all night. Oral care was very poor, his mouth dry and lips and tongue cracked and bleeding from no oral care and dehydration. Dr there could not make his own decisions, stated he was following the orders from hospital discharge by restricting fluids and leaving resident on high doses of diuretic medication. Resident was in facility, with S&S of UTI for almost 2 weeks, urine was milky appearing and yes, it was positive for UTI. Clinical labs at hospital showed resident was definetly dehydrated. Why they continue to let facilities like this stay open ?????
They don't have that great of a professional reputation in my community. They definitely aren't known for being experts. Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. That's just bad business. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else.
