My mother is currently a resident at Brandywine hall. I can not recommend this property. There are a host of issue's. Overall the response to any inquiry or request never gets answered until you vent your frustration. My mother had been let on the toilet for a half hour. She was cold one night and woke to an aide at the foot of her bed. She asked for additional covers and the aide said she would go get her aide. It would have taken 1 minute and why was she in her room if not her aide? Then there was a theft from her room which we reported. Just recently she had become ill and was vomiting for two days. She wasn't seen by a doctor or offered additional care. Thank God my wife is a nurse! During a visits over the two day period I called my wife to relay her physical condition. My wife told me to pinch her skin, if it stays in place she's dehydrated, it did. Why didn't Brandywine Hall's nurse do this? When I requested her transfer to the hospital, the nurse on duty said "Oh we can giver her fluids". Then why didn't you?? When they finally did an assessment, not only was she dehydrated but her pulseOX was 84, not good. When she arrived to Chester County Hospital she was given fluids and the care she needed. At discharge the doctor also told us her her renal function was restored. Nice people but terrible care. You really want to look at some other places before you settle on this place.I will be filing a complaint with the state of Pennsylvania. She's been there for 7 months and they still don't have all of her medical records.The social worker is very kind and nice. Most of aides my mom has except one are great and we loved her LPN but she's not on my moms case anymore. In the process of looking for another property.

My mother was a resident at Brandywine Hall for almost 3 years. She received the very best care; I have absolutely no complaints. She was treated with kindness, received good meals, her nurses and aids couldn't have been better. She loved the staff and was made to feel that the staff loved her too!

Both of my parents have been residents of Brandywine Hall. The staff is the best staff you could ever hope for in a nursing home facitlity. They are extremely professionally and so very caring. They all must really like what they do because it really reflects on their performance. I am so very impressed with everything about Brandywine Hall, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need. And the food is good too, my mom eats very well there, my dad having recently passed away here, always raved about their food. Keep up the good work, definitely 5 star facility.

A little, it was faint but I noticed one
