The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They did their best to answere my questions but asked that I call the day staff to make sure I got the correct answers. That was the only good thing about the place. You pull up to the building and it looks like an old institution (mental, scarey). You go up the slippery wet marble stairs into a hallway. I look to the left and saw orange safety net across the hallway (why not doors). I thought maybe construction was going on but it wasn't, it was to keep the consumers in their hallway. I started down the hallway and immediately it smelled (quite strongly) of feces! It was enough to make you throw up. I thought I would wait a while to see if the smell would go away and it didn't. So to that means someone was lying in poop for at lease an hour. I went to my Mom's room and saw my mom in bed at 7:30. That is way to early for her. She was acting like she was doped up. My Mom is a very energetic person, her cheeks were red and she was talking slowly. There is one bathroom for 4 consumers. The room is old and worn out. She had a sheet for a curtain. Please go for a look at the place before you put any family member there. It is such a gloomy looking place : (

They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. Every time I come here I feel so unwelcome as soon as I enter the door. They can never seem to remember my name when I first arrive and always forget it throughout my appointment. Every time they left the room, the staff would immediately begin complaining about how much they disliked working there. It made me nervous, and I didn't go back. They didn't display their qualifications. It made me nervous.
