I am very happy with the nurses and staff in the Mohawk unit. They are very attentive to my Mom and not just medically speaking but on a very personal level as well. They really got to know her, likes, dislikes and personality and they engage and have fun with her. My mom is very content and happy in her surroundings and I see this whenever I pop in to see her.

I have visited other Nursing homes and this is by far the worst. Most nurses are non existent and aides are barely around. I called for an Aide for my Mother to help her to the bathroom and a good 20 mins passed & no one ever came! After 10mins. I took her myself and my mom is in a wheelchair, she needs help, that's why she is in a Nursing home and paying for help. If we could help her we would have her with us. Since she has been there she's fallen because there was no help and has bruises in her arms. They say there is Podiatry at the facility but my mother's nails haven't been trimmed in a long time. When you complain to the Nurse supervisor she gives you an attitude. I'm getting evidence together to Sue this facility and contacting OSHA. They do not get the care they need! There is a reason they rebuilt this facility. At the old Glendale Nursing home they had many suits and the place was falling into pieces. Most Nursing staff is very unprofessional. When you actually find a Nurse they ignore you or are busy chatting about their personal problems.

My grandfather went in for OT and got an infection. The nurses stories about how this occurred were not the same. The bathroom has urine and depends on the floor which presets a safety hazard when using a walker. His meds were not given to him daily, and he was unsupervised using the bathroom .
