The best thing about this rehab center is the pt/ot people. the nurses were far and few. the aides were pretty good, some better than others. but the overall assistance from nurses was not there. so if you need just rehab this is ok. if anything else NOT!!!! Nurses and so call head nurses were not knowledgeable or didn't want to answer questions. so got my brother out as soon as we could.

I visited this center a couple times when my aunt injured her back and had to do therapy. i was very impressed how nicely the rooms were presented it made my aunt feel comfortable from the start, the aides came in and introduced themselves and explained every step.

My current job is a housekeeper and overtime i watched glendales housekeepers come in everyday and make sure my aunt was comfortable and had the supplies she needed we spoke to their boss, he was a very nice guy who took the time to explain to my aunt what him and his people do ( in which my aunt said she can do it it all by herself ).
My aunt really like this one aide but said most were really "snotty" ... i don't think she liked the food ( i asked, she laughed )... she really wanted to thank glendale for"putting up with her and making her recover quickly" and ask me to send this on behalf of her

Awful place
Left my mother unattended and slumped over numerous times.
Had a male attendant give her a shower.

I learned of all of these things by people that were visiting the person in the bed next door, and spent more time there than I could.
Good place to leave someone you do not love.

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

My mother was rushed out of Glendale to the emergency room on 11/11/13.
I was not notified at work that this had occurred, and as a result my mother passed away alone.
The excuse was that they did not have my work number, but that was not the case, they were just to lazy to get it.
We had a conference call two days prior to this incident where they called me in work,and there were many other times as well.
The director of Nursing should be terminated.
Other than this awful incident, the place is not clean, and the staff is not friendly or caring , with the exception of a few.
The rehab department is very good, so for short term ok, but do not leave anyone there that does not have all of their wits.
