I'm not sure what this individual "skittles" is refering to. Granby House is a nursing facility that is open and cares for their residents 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. They never "close". The person that made those accusations to Mike never was a resident or an employee of Granby House. He was a disgruntled ex husband of the said individual whom he slandered.

Granby House is a wonderful facility and has many caring employees.

In reply to the previous review from Skittles, all allegations were investigated and unfounded. The staff is educated and well-trained. Each month all staff attends an inservice in which they receive continuing education.

They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. One thing that really bothers me is bad breath, but I am happy to report that I have no complaints here. Their breath is always very fresh. The staff must have not been trained very well. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else. I wish they had a few more staff members on hand. They weren't severely understaffed but it was obvious they could've used more help. A couple of times they've stayed open a few minutes past their closing time to help me, but most of the time they'll close at their scheduled time whether someone needs help or not. This business is morally bankrupt. They employ a young, heavyset blond lesbian woman who steals cash payments from the families of residence, turns in receipts for personal purchases, and uses company funds to fuel her own personal vehicle which drives up the costs for no reason. When her actions were reported to Mike, her boss at Granby House, he did not investigate and allowed her to continue to steal from his poor, defenseless residents.
