I was not happy with this facilityat ALL!!!! My MOTHER,(ROSEMARIE ERICKSON), was given medication that she WAS NOT to take. She was also not getting her PERCOCET 10-325 the whole time of her stay. My mother has CRONIC PAIN!!! The Dr. was giving her MELOXICAM, which is for moderate relief of ARTHRITIS. She also had gotten BLISTERS between he legs,which she NEVER has had at home. I DO NOT understand WHY this DR. changed her medications!!!!!! I had went to visit her and told the NURSE to give her a PAIN PILL.The nurse,JACKIE,told me my mother was ONLY getting the MELOXICAM I was FURIOUS!!!! I then asked for the DR'S phone number.I was told they can not give his number to me. Which I know is a FALSE statement!!!! I have been taking care of my mother for 7 years!!!! I know EXACTLY WHAT and HOW to take CARE of MY MOTHER!!!!! I am DEFINITELY VERY,VERY UPSET!!!!!! How DARE the DOCTOR make these changes. When I told the nurse she said she would inform the DR. to start giving my mother her PERCOCET. And of course,my mother was STILL not given them!!!!!! I will DEFINITELY "NOT" recommend MANOR CARE to ALL of my associates. I REALLY will recommend this to ALL of the NEWS MEDIA.My mother went into your FACILITY with no BED SORES or BLISTERS between her thighs!!! Now that she is HOME,I am now BURDENED with ridding her of these SORES that were not there to begin with!!!!!! I was NOT listened to what so ever!! I should have been!!! I KNOW my MOTHER BETTER than any body!!!! HOW DARE MANOR CARE make DECISIONS without my KNOWLEDGE!!!!!! And NOT even call me to discuss any of the prescriptions!!!!! SHAME ON YOU,MANOR CARE!!!!!!!!! . VERY,VERY DISGUSTED, .ELAINE ERICKSON, daughter of ROSEMARIE ERICKSON. .MANOR CARE,you had BETTER change or RECTIFY your "POLICIES!!!!"
