My mother was there over 2 years. The staff were wonderful to her and my father who was there to make sure mom was cared for properly. The management though is terrible and billed dad more than half of their assets which should not have been. Added unexplained amounts were on most monthly statements. I would never recommend this facility just because of the management.

My wife is in HCV, and I agree with Lou Quaresimo that something is going on. On November 7, 2012, my wife had a fall where she broke her ankle and a week later required surgury. On December 15, 2012, I went to visit my wife only to be informed at this time she was in a local hospital with a possible stroke. {she was taken the day before but I was not informed) On January 7 and February 1, 2013, she was invoved in 2 other falls that the last one required medical treatment. I also have noticed my wife drugged up on numerous ocassions where she had difficulty to function normally, frequently around the periods of falling.

Absolutely! They made me feel like my questions and concerns were stupid

There is something going on at this place. My wife is there now. She went there directly after spending time in the hospital. When she was at the hospital she was very alert. After she got to Henry Clay she became very lethargic, confused and sleepy. That's all she does is sleep all day. She is supposed to be getting physical therapy but that's not happening. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Oh and they don't even have central air conditioning. Better bring your own fan!

Their staff was friendly enough. I felt worse when I left. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. My grandmother (bernice shazer) was admitted August, 2011. We visited her nearly every week. On December 24, 2011, I spilled my coffee (for I am disabled) and could not find my wallet. It was returned to me on December 25, 2011 with everything intact except the $75 I had in my wallet. I reported it right away and was told the state was informed. I have not received my money back yet. I would like my money back.
