Would highly recommend this facility. Our loved one raved about the great food, the great Physical Therapy team who motivated our loved one to work hard and get well and the nursing staff for the most part did a really good job. The administrative staff who sat to visit and talk not to look right through you as if you were not there. This was a much better experience than the one we had a previous facility. Don't be fooled by remodeled / newly renovated facilities with big ads in the newspapers. This facility may not be newly renovated but it's the people who care that make this a special place
Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home would not turn my family member and my family member obtained numerous bedsores. Lost/stole his clothes, denied my family member his rights to be represented by attorney. Kick my family member out without a 30 day written notice. Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home denied my family member to be taken to the E.R. Hospital due to health problems. Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home complained when my family member had to go to the hospital due to health problems, as the nursing home was not paid when a resident is in the hospital. Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home committed fraud on Medicare & Medicaid for physical therapy on a 30-year-old injury that made the injury worse.
