I regret to this day that I accepted from the state this facility to put my mother in. She's been there for four years now, and in those four years the staff turnover has been unbelievable, from management to nurses, to all healthcare workers. The place reeked of urine up until the day it was locked down due to covid-19, my mother is diabetic and sometimes is not given her medicines because the place is short staffed. When the CDC locked down all nursing homes because of covid19, no one was able to enter or leave the facility except staff and employees. All patients should have been safe from this virus, but one of their employees( a CNA) used to sit in my mothers room everyday talking to my mother's roommate, and hiding out from doing her job. This CNA came to work everyday sick, and didn't say anything to anyone, how do I know? Everyday that I called my mother and her roommate to check on them, I'd her this CNA coughing and questioned who was coughing. They said it was nurse Betty. Well my mother's roommate caught that virus from that CNA that was allowed to sit in her room everyday. Unacceptable! I have other complaints about this place. Personal items and money have come up missing from my mother. Some of the workers that answer the phone at the front desk are very rude. I have a very hard time getting someone, anyone to come to a phone or even return a phone call, I believe that's because they were either told not to put certain calls through or screen all calls, either way they put you on hold and after being on hold for several minutes, the call goes back to the person that put you on hold only for her to put you back on hold again. Nobody has time for games like that. I don't know from one week til the next who is running this facility.

Assistant Director of Nursing very rude. Yelled at us for no reason. Stay away from this place, they do not care about the patients or the families. I am shocked they are able to have any patients.

DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES IN THIS FACILITY....HORRIBLE
EXPERIENCE IN THIS FACILITY

Remember the facility is only as good as the "Administrator" and the administrator comes off as a very sweet and caring person and turns her back once you are there.

Also most of the staff is HORRIBLE and are very lazy. The few staff members that are good are all looking to go elsewhere, they know this place is bad. The staff that stays is because they are less then qualified to care for people and most likely can not get a job in a good facility.

They leave patience sitting in the halls with soiled diapers asking to be changed and ignored/snickered at by the Indian nurse, I witnessed this personally as a patient, the nurse was cold to the patience. My heart broke seeing what goes on here, and at night it is worse because no one is around to see what goes on. Patience get even less care at night.

This nurse sits by the elevator and when visitors get off she sprays something to try to cover up the urine smell. They could use quite a few more staff members.

They were very understaffed. I did not feel safe at all in their care and couldn't wait to get released. I kept my mouth shut and tried to get better so I could leave as soon as possible.

I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. I don't think they were very experienced or well-trained.

The House Dr that is supposed to be on call is never around and when I needed medication they paged him numerous times from Friday evening and all the way through Sunday evening and he NEVER responded. I repeatedly asked for pain medication and was told they could not give me anything until the DR called them. So I was upset all weekend, my family also asked and was told they paged the DR and have not received a response. I had to wait until Monday at 10 am for my medication. Leaving me in pain all weekend and they call this good care?

They also held back on giving me my medication "sometimes" they feel you don't need it because you are doing so good.

I didn't understand why if I wasn't getting my medication, if your meds are supposed to be given at 8 am and 8 pm, you might not get one of the doses if they don't feel you need it. Which leaves you in pain, they don't care!

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE I would not put anyone here.

For folks who can not speak for themselves beware they will get less attention/care because they can not speak up for themselves.

They leave you in a chair all day. The physical therapy isn't good or long enough for the folks who really need it.

BEWARE OF THIS FACILITY, you have been warned.

If you truly care about anyone who is looking to be placed,
PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE.
