Both me and my husband were residents there for 4 months and that was long enough...The previous owner hassled us because we did not have any money..we signed for Medicaid and got told to wait on Medicaid to come through..but every month here he came...I would never recommend anyone to live there..My husband is a Veteran from Vietnam and he has Parkinson's Disease and when he checked in he had all his medicine and they gave it to other patients who also had Parkinson's..All that place believes in doing is shoving pills down your throat..I was recovering from a stroke...and I did not want to be there...the food was horrible...the nursing staff would patient crawling in the floor and just ignore them...it was nuts around there..
I wrote an review earlier and sumbitted it,but its not up,maybe because it was long, trying again but shorter. Very dasapointed with the service. Reasons are listed below 1) staff careless w/ prescriptions...I asked a front desk nurse for a pen n paper and saw small piece of paper on counter and to use it, later i saw that the front was a residents PRESCRIPTION for pain meds. I returned to nurse n she didnt even seem to care, just "dont worry bout it" 2) steals stuff) when my gpa had to go back to hospital, my aunt came for his possessions and his watch was missing, he didnt have it on him when he went to hospital and staff denied any knowledge of missing watch and supervisor said she d look into it but never heard back in spite of mutiple messages left. 3) staff is not helpful at all ...if a resident is in visible need of help, staff will not help, only will help if they HAVE to, if not...they ll pretend they dont see resident.
Very upset by experience of having loved one in this place, will not recommend to worst enemy.
