My parents live at Lexington in Wheeling for the last 2 years of their life. My mother passed away in 2015 and my father followed her in 2016. I want to express my gratitude to the administration and staff of the facility for what they have done for my family. They were taking care of my parents while I was able to work and continue with my life. I knew that my parent are safe and comfortable. Especially I want to say how much I appreciate the care and support that comes from the CNAs. These are the people who do the most unpleasant work and many of them do it with such love and devotion that deserve the most respect. Andrea, Fernando, Diana, Ela, Marina, Palermo, Luis - these are the people that I will be always grateful. Thank you to social worker Mari Moskowitz for everything she has done for our family. Thank you to the nurses and physical therapists. You all help me in a difficult time of my life. Wishing you all the best.

My mother is living here. The staff is very nice. I was very surprised at the very good variety and quality of the food. Residents are given several menu options. The facility is clean and beautiful, there are many activities for the residents, the PT and OT staff are kind and helpful. I have visited several nursing homes, and this is the best by far.

Beware of this location. Understaffed with food that is considered poor by most residents. Long waits for response by the staff is very common. Management does not seem to care about the physical and occupational needs of the patients. I have heard many stories of the help losing clothes. Attempted to check on this and the staff doing the laundry says they do not speak english.
