My dad resided here for a little over a month in the summer of 2013. The care was superb. At the time, my dad was 90 years old, and we all realized that he was coming to the end of his life when he moved into the Little Nursing Home. The staff was highly attentive and very caring. They made his final days peaceful and painfree. The facility was very clean, and the patients were well cared for. I liked the fact that there were only about 30 beds, and that the facility is family-owned and operated. As a result, the small staff knew each patient's case file very well. He was never "lost" in some big, impersonal facility. I highly recommend the Little Nursing Home.

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. Don't be fooled by fancy surroundings in some homes. It means nothing.I've had family members here. NO problems.

If you or a loved one is in need of care for Alzheimer's or other elder care, this small, friendly, consistent home is the place. Set in a nice neighborhood with trees and a front porch, the staff are kind and turnover is minimal. It is nice not to leave a loved one in an institutional setting - this feels like home. The nursing supervisor, Pat, is exceptional and the business is family owned - Brian cares about the residents as well as the physical plant. You might find a more luxurious place, but you will not find one that tries harder to provide appropriate, quality care. Having visited 25+ nursing homes in Northeast NJ, I can honestly say, this is the most comforting place to leave a loved one. Good luck on your journey.
