My Father was here. He broke his neck, due to short staffing. They then just put him back in bed. When I came in a couple of hours later, he was unconscious and had a bump on his head, the size of a baseball. I had him taken to the hospital, where he passed away in a couple of weeks. Avoid this place, like your loved ones lives depend on it...They Do.

I was recently a resident of Montclair Nursing and Rehabilitation for my recent hospitalization and loved it. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Everyone you walked by in the hallway said Hi with a smile. The facility was also very clean. I would recommend this facility to all my dear family and friends and will definitely return if I ever need rehab services again.

What a difference in this place!!! There are new staff members everywhere and they are remodeling the building. I couldn't believe it!! I was there a few years ago and it has improved greatly!! The residents and staff are smiling! That tells me it is a great place for my family member to be!! I don't need all the bells and whistles, but I do need a happy person to care for my mother!!! And I am definitely getting that now!!!

I have worked in nursing for 30 years. This is without a doubt the worst facility I've seen. I stayed 2 months. The entire time I tried to interview with the director of nursing, whom I finally met the day I quit. She was extremely rude to me. This is typical of much of the staff though. Every day I worked there the staff had an argument, mostly about not getting help from each other. I was forced to contact the state due to the obvious neglect certain residents were experiencing. Avoid this place at all costs. They are extremely unprofessional. The facility actually stole personal nursing equipment from the nursing staff used to take vitals. Items like blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes are nearly impossible to find. Nurses are forced to hoard rubber gloves since they are so difficult to find. Simple things like clean linen and trash bags are not always to be found. The nursing staff does not even give report! How are you supposed to know what has been going on with your patient? Patients of mine died and I didn't find out until I went into the room and the roommate told me. I would not have believed a facility like this could have existed without seeing it for myself.

DO NOT LET ANYONE STAY HERE! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! MY FATHER WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE HOSPITIAL AFTER HAVING A HEART ATTACK AND COMPLAINED ABOUT CHEST PAIN ALL NIGHT. I HAD TO TELL THEM TO TAKE HIM. WHEN HE WAS TO GO BACK THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT TAKE HIM BACK DUE TO BEING UNDER INVESTIGATION FROM THE STATE. HE WAS NOT GIVEN NOTICE AND DID NOT HAVE A HOME!! PLEASE READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS - I WOULD NOT LET ANYONE STAY HERE

I plan on telling everyone I know about how terrible this nursing home is. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Every time I'd ask a question, they lied. The staff discouraged my asking any questions. They brushed me off. I got a few answers here and there to my questions, but it was scattered and confusing. I left wishing I had gotten more information. The restrooms here are not clean. The place is horrible - I would not place anyone I loved in this facility!
