This place has a horrible staff. They were smug, dormant, lazy and very condescending. Upon arrival to visit my father in law (one of the few remaining survivors of the Normandy invasion) we were greeted with a unwelcome look of disgust by the so-called nurses sitting around the nursing station as if we interrupted their conversation. I said hello...no response. We wanted to know what room he was in and a middle aged Hispanic woman in charge of the nursing station rudely pointed to his door without uttering a word. Nice.
My father in law was given blood thinners and he was freezing because the inept maintenance staff left the air conditioning on while Ct. was experiencing its' first cold front of the season! He complained to me that they were irritated by his simple requests and were looking at him like he was human garbage. They wouldn't even give my wife a water pitcher for him! They brought him disgusting burnt coffee and cereal with milk even after his doctor informed them specifically in his report that he was lactose intolerant! My friend's father died in this facility. He said they left a bed pan full of feces underneath him for hours. He warned me about this place months ago.
I am giving this place a rating of ".5 stars". If I could give it a worse rating I would! A WWII veteran who was willing to sacrifice his life for this country should not be left in the hands of such a negligent facility with an incompetent staff.
