It is a great place. The facility is clean, the food taste good, and staffed! I saw they just became a 5-star! I would recommend this place to my family.

wow a very clean facility with a very friendly helpful staff to answer your questions or whatever it takes. Only one reason I would raise a small red flag . The facility wasn't locked down with a keypad entrance or exit . As I visit many nursing facilities this just took me by surprise.

As I visited, the staff were friendly and accepting of my older sister. Nursing assistants were kind and appropriate with their work. The reason the home did not get a 5 star is that a bossy kitchen worker admonished me for leaving out a door that alarmed when the person left. I was not that person, nor was it a family member. That employee needs to research who she is fussing at before she speaks. And kitchen staff need to be trained how to turn off false alarms in their area. Otherwise, all appeared to be quite professional and a good environment for seniors to reside.

I visited three days in a row at lunch time at the dementia wing at Oakview Heights in Mt. Carmel. Every day was consistent with prompt attention to the patients by caring staff members. This is not a job I would be able to do and I salute anyone who decides to take care of the elderly and mentally disabled individuals. Their patience was outstanding and their care was gentle and respectful. In spite of the incredible sadness in visiting a loved one in this situation, I was reassured by the competency of the staff that I witnessed there.

Definitely, they seemed irritated to work with anyone

Way too loud! I could barely hear what anyone was saying over the noise

Not at all. They ignored my questions

The staff didn't seem to know very much, they couldn't ever answer my questions

Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!
