Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

I worked there, what a horror! It's beyond appalling that any facility can allow such neglect and let these so-called professionals get away with murder. Too often I saw residents unsupervised--traumatic brain injury affected patients often are at risk for falls and even more injuries--but they allow nursing staff to crawl into hiding, sign that they supervised--when they didn't--and no telling the nursing supervisor; she threatened disciplinary action if you did as the aides were angels--yes, angels of death!

My Sister is there and we are desperately trying to get her our of there
this place is a dump it smells patient is park in there wheel chair in the
hallway like cars from 8 in the morning to 6pm no one pay attention to
them soil linen is in the hallway the entire day the smell is so bad that
it hard to breath, the beads is from the eighteen century one has to wine it up for the head to raise there is a big whole in the wall the curtain is falling off and no one is fixing it the is all fuzzy can't see anything clearly...........it sicken my stomach when I witness this
everyone I speak to said management is not doing anything to improve
the environment...

Our father was admitted to Park Terrace a few months ago to the TBI program, and our experience has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, caring and helpful. The patio is nice place to relax outdoors when we come to visit. We visited other facillites and we found Park Terrace to have more staffing, and is much cleaner.

Nursing staff and therapists work hard and diligently with the patients. However, supervisors are rude and unprofessional. Special attention needs to be directed at the facility's so called "Social Workers" in particular Dina Steinberg, her aloofness and unprofessional approach tops the list of anything I have witness. She does not work for the patient, she works for the owner to provide the least expensive method for caring for a patient. Talking to any social worker makes one feel like an intruder.

RUN for your life! This facility is terrible. It is run down, cramped, and they don't give good care. They definitely don't put the money they get from medicare/medicaid toward caring for the patients, they line their pockets. The nurses don't care about the patients well being and happiness. They don't have portable oxygen, so my father is cramped in a depressing room, with three other people, old beds, no TV and barely any light. He is diabetic and was also put on a soft diet by an occupational therapist. When I was there the woman brought him a ham sandwich on white bread with orange juice and pudding... Really? Oh, and even though we provide them with clean clothes for him... They "forget" to change him out of the previous days clothes, or just don't bother and if he has an accident, they are in no rush to change that either.
