I would not recommend this nursing home to anybody, anywhere at anytime. My family member is constantly falling out of bed and injuring himself. They keep him on medication that makes him lathargic and it's like talking to a complete stranger. He comprehends very little. He looks ten times worse since he was put there by Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Dr.s are inattentive and rude. If you have a family member that needs 24 hour care, please, please look elsewhere. Your loved one will take a turn for the worse and fail if you allow him/her to stay at this facility. They have a lot of nerve calling it a nursing home...

My father has been at Perdue for close to a year. He is 91 and suffers from dementia. He has received outstanding care at Perdue. The staff is professional and attentive to my father's needs and those of the family. I am his son and I have had a wonderful experience with every member of the administrative and medical staff with whom I have had dealings. My father had stayed at another nursing home where he used to fall regularly, resulting in head injuries on two occassions that required hospitalization. Bottom line I highly recommend Perdue.

They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. Every time I've called and left a message, I've never heard back. It's extremely annoying. They definitely weren't easy to reach in an emergency. I was forced to call the emergency room in the middle of the night and was really scared. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my safety more important than always having an answer. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from.
