My wife was here for about one month and they were fantastic in taking care of her from the nursing to pt and the people that keep this place so clean .I can say enough about this place and the people they are so friendly .I have recommended this place to a friend of mine who place his mother in law here and he to is very satisfied with the care.

My father currently resides at this home. Overall they have definitely nursed him back to a decent level of health based on his overall ailments. But....the turn over is horrible, the staff complaints constantly the head of nursing on the 3rd floor, I think her name is Betty (not sure). She looks and acts mean and unapproachable. Not friendly to residents or family. Dont bring something to their attention because they do everything right and you and your family need to re evaluate things and you need to change. I don't think she know how to create a team environment the would keep her nurses and aides upbeat and happy which would clearlybe conveyed to the residents there..Instead you constantly hear residents crying for help, the bell or phones constantly ringing and no attention being paid to neither. It appears they have to many residents to aids ratio. So my father sits in his urine until someone can change him..ugh... When issues are brought up she acts quickly to cover her ass and makes you feel like its all in your head. Social Workers come and go, so getting a firm answer regarding care is impossible. The business office never calls you back and there phones just ring and ring...Pat is the worst..My father complaints of the food daily and the laundry service is bad. His clothes still smell and the towels linens and washtowels are dingy. My family pay alot for him to reside at this home. Changes need to be made. Our seniors need to be treated with dignity and respect. They help build and fight for this nation and if you can't treat them right then find a job elsewhere and hire someone who will.

what my issues are this:
my mom was there for 4 to 5 months, 2and floor rehab and then they moved her to the 4th floor for long term care, as it was recommend, when she was on 2 and floor she did pretty good, for the most part better then when she got to 4th floor and still had 1 week left on medicare , another issue i'm upset about why they just could not let it run it's course let her try 10 days left thats another $5,000.00 i lost because the lack of knowing what you are doing , it's a joke anyway, once she got to 4th floor it became a whole new ball game, never did they try to get her exercise just put and keep her in a wheel chair to the point she was getting butt sores and could not even sit in wheel chair anymore, in a very short period of time she was beginning to deteriorate, everyone has a answer when we ask a question, everyone seems like they care and are on top of the care for your mom , but deep down it was nothing more then a business and my poor mom was a customer, it was a joke, makes me sick just to think about it she could not really eat on her own yet they would just put the food in front of her, unless we were there trying to get her to eat , i told kathleen many times of my concerns on this eating issue and all she did was talk talk and more talk, always says she knows everything, she can be reached 24 hrs a day, i tested it one weekend ask nurse, i think diane to contact her i wanted to speak and guess what nothing, not even a reply when i saw her on that following Tuesday theses people will say anything to you to save there jobs, but i'm telling you , IT'S not all that great, the aids are the worse, only a few WERE GOOD like i said my mom would of died longer then she did,if we did not try and get her food yes my mom did die and yes there was not one so called person even came to my moms viewing witch was no more then 5 mins up the street, the head nurse kathleen was good to a point but every time i had concerns it seemed like i was bothering her, bottom like this so called great nursing home owned and run by nuns is a joke, you maybe be one of the best nursing homes but not by much, you should take a very close look on who is truly a great nurse and aid's and who just wants to collect a pay check, some are good but most are not, best one on the 4th floor that took care of my mom was AIDS : day shift kathy she was great, - rose was great 2and shift, they were the two best LETS SEE NURSES #1 Diane was very good and caring only nurse that i saw 1st hand that tried to give my mom assure, i asked and asked and asked but diane was the only one when she had my mom, thatk you Diane for your caring - beth was pretty good- dominic was very good and on top of it bottom line is this , you are not as caring and great as you think you are , you charge big money and not worth it, cost vis value is short comming, my mom really never ate for 4 months 3 meals x 7 days = 336 meals maybe she ate 36 leaves 300 meals not eaten, i think i should get a rebate on theses meals, look into it with accounting and get back to me, i could go on and on with total care and service but i'll leave it at the meals for now if a meal cost average is $8.00 x 300 thats $2,400.00 that cost should come off my bottom line invoice u will see if they charted right never ate , and if they did chart it they must do a min of 10% i was told that because i ask hope you truly understand my concerns, my mom could of still been alive if only >>>>>>>>>>>> i'm now done talking if you don't understand this then i feel sorry haig / son and was POA
PS: my e-mail is also ready for your respons
