A family member of mine had a rehab stay. The rehab unit is very nice, friendly staff and all but the nursing home part is extremely depressing! The only thing the residents can do is hang out in the hallway...it's awful!! They have activities going on for the residents but at any given time, there are wheelchairs filled with people lined up in the hallways. They don't have nice little rooms where family can sit with their loved one and talk instead of being in their room which is small with no privacy. The whole building needs to be torn down and rebuilt...it's nice that they're remodeling but it doesn't change the long hallways...Marshwood is a much nicer and pleasant facility.

Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert.
