I have had a relative here and we were not at all satisfied with her care. This time I phoned to find a friend, using the number in the local phone book (981-5483) the phone was answered by a patient from his room. He said he frequently gets phone calls like mine, asking for other patients. He did not know why. I drove 20 miles to town, went in Sandy Ridge and asked about the patient/friend I was looking for. After being given her room number I told them of calling the phone book listed number, and speaking with a patient. I told them the patient was frustrated at not know why he was receiving these calls, and could they please fix the situation. The receptionist was very nice, and assured me it would be done. Today, about 1 1/2 weeks later I phoned again, and the same man answered. The problem has not been fixed, and still did not know why. This is typical of what went on when my sister-in-law was there. I would not allow someone to put me or my husband in there. I have other specific complaints if anyone were interested. I guess I will have to go back to town to find out about my friend.
