I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. I definitely don't trust their advice. They're only concerned about themselves. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone.They dropped my friend, broke her hip. Hurt her toe and didn't report it. She is crippled for the rest of her life. So she sued them, won a settlement, but the attorney kept all the money.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them.

Theives!!! My 78 year old mother is terminally ill with cancer - they stole her purse and Bible! The bed was broken! I had her removed from this filthy dump within an hour, they didn't like it so they supposedly "threw away" her slippers and clothes and other personal possesions. They hung up on my wife on the phone several times as we tried to locate or pin down who stole her purse and threw away her Bible. They are criminals. It's a HOUSE OF HORRORS!

RUN from this con-man operation!

I would recommend Sherman Village Healthcare Center to everyone. This is a wonderful facility with caring, vigilent and educated staff. The care doesn't just extend to the residents. The staff is interactive with itself, the administration is always cognizent of the staff's schedules, needs and concerns. The residents are varying degrees of elderly or incapacitated, but the staff and administration treat everyone as healthy, aware people. The kindness, humor and care is above reproach. Dad gets all the necessary medical care in a punctual, professional manner. My father is a resident and, even though he has dementia, the entire staff treates him with respect and dignity -- they don't ignore him or minimize his daily concerns. We are blessed to have found Sherman Village. This place takes the worry out of wondering if dad is okay because he IS okay because of this staff. If you're in the San Fernando Valley and you're looking for a loving, caring, educated and dedicated home for your loved one, definitely look at Sherman Village first. You won't regret it! P.S. Medi-Cal patients, this is for you! Regardless of your financial situation, everyone is treated with such respect. You can rest easy if your loved one is here.
