I cannot recommend anything higher. This nursing home is filled with wonderful caregivers. My mother lived there for 8 years. I truly felt that my mother was in a place where she was actually loved. They were very professional in calling us promptly with any new development. They followed our directives. They were marvelous with her during her passing away. While she was dying various employees stopped to tell her good-bye. My mother's sisters were in a much more expensive nursing home in the area. Their rooms were much more decorated, but the quality of their care couldn't even come close. Sometimes my mother's belongings disappeared so don't keep anything there that you can't afford to lose. Otherwise, Sherman Village Healthcare is a hidden gem.

Yes, I'm never confident that my appointment will actually happen

No, I don't think they appreciate my loyalty

They seemed to know enough

My mother has been to Sherman Village 2 times now and it's the best we have been to so far. The facility is older, looks like the 80's, however, the staff is the best we have had. My mom has been to every hospital in the valley and also UCLA and Sherman Village staff is the greatest. They are very attentive, always come when she puts her light on to go to the restroom. Most places make you wait, especially night staff. We have never had this problem here. I trust them completely with my mom and that's saying A LOT!
PS - NEVER EVER GO TO VALLEY PRES REHAB. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! I CANT STATE THIS ENOUGH!!

Definitely, it was nauseating

No, they were rude
Did they follow up with you after your appointment?
No, but they said they were going to!
Do you feel that you could have received better service somewhere else?
Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!
Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns?
Absolutely! They made me feel like my questions and concerns were stupid

My Mother was at this facility for several years. Not the best decor, but they are kind, carring, and professional. They treat the residents like family. I highly recommend it.
