I placed my Mother two years ago in Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care. At the time she was 96 and I could no longer lift her. I had taken care of her for 17 yrs. There was great guilt about this, but the "Home" was very supportive. Like the old hymn "It is well with my soul. One of the amazing things about the "home" is the amount of employees being there so long i.e. 20+ years. My mother is thriving well. She has a wonderful room mate and each night they share a glass of wine and memories. If you wish to ask me a question my email is GAJANOFF@AOL.COM
