My father was a resident for about two months at then end of 2018. When he was in the rehabilitation wing he was well cared for. When he moved to long term care he became a self pay patient at $265 per day. At this time he also was heavily drugged without discussing it with any family member. In mid December it was suggested by the staff that he be moved to a different facility because he "was not comfortable" at Suwannee River Health and Rehab. At that point it was just a suggestion that he be moved, but we were told when it became official we would be given a three day window to do so. At their suggestion our family found a new facility for our father. It has been nine months since he moved and my mother is still waiting for a refund for days she paid for, but were not used, $2,940. We have contacted SRHR and their parent company Gulf Coast Health multiple times. We were told the refund had to be approved by the board.

My grandfather and grandmother are here at Suwannee health care. Every time I come they are in the same clothes from days before. They have not been bathed or even wiped. The rooms stink, no one ever knows what is going on. I am very disappointed in this whole facility. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Suwannee Health Care is not a good nursing home for anyone who cares about their loved one(s). My elderly Mother had to be hospitalized BY ME because the facility let her lay there sick and get worse. No Health Care facility should do that! Beware if your loved ones care is important to you!!!

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and were always available if I thought of more. The staff is very friendly and professional. My father is treated like family there. The nurses and staff are very kind. They call him by name in the hallway always greet us with a smile. SHCC has even called me at night if they had a concern about my father that would not wait until morning. THANK YOU, SHCC!

Yes, I had to wait a long time before someone was able to help me

I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places
