The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because I could not submit my review; Otherwise, I would not give any stars. Please do not consider this place to be your loved ones care giver. My mother had hip replacement surgery. Her doctor recommended that she receive therapy. We chose Westwood because it is located in the more affluent side of town and did not do our research. We just took my mother home due to the nightmare she had to endure there. The staff was rude to her, she has to have oxygen because she has COPD and 3 times her oxygen was compromised with no one answering her calls when she pushed the call button 4 times on her first night there. When she was not to get out of bed unassisted, she had just made it to the door when someone finally came in. My sister was with her on one occasion and discovered the oxygen machine was unplugged. The last time this happened my mother pushed the call button 4 times, made it to the bathroom to pull the emergency cord and finally began yelling for someone to help her before a staff member came in. A week into her stay, we had a meeting to discuss our concerns and planned on taking her home that day, but my mother was so ill she said she needed to stay. We were confused about her state of health and after going over her meds list with the director and assistant director of nursing, we discovered they were giving her the meds my sister named when she was admitted for her not to take because she had had adverse reactions. They assured us she would not receive them any longer. Two days later my mother was complaining of severe neck and shoulder pain and thankfully the nurse on duty told the NP; my mother had been complaining of different symptoms daily and was assured it would be reported to her doctor, but her doctor never visited because they weren't reporting anything. I asked to see what meds she was taking again and they were still giving her the wrong meds! The NP put a hold on them and confirmed that some of the meds' side effects they were giving her were causing the symptoms she had been complaining about. My mother said she was still too weak and sick to go home. At one point, she did not think she was going to make it out of there. We experienced other life threatening situations in addition to the ones mentioned and had to take her home. We went to the administrator, who basically called us liars by denying his staff would perform these deficient infractions. We are still in disbelief, but plan to investigate further. Please do not place your loved one in this facility.

Somewhat, I wasn't overly impressed
