My brother has received care here in late July for 3 weeks and then tried to go back home-did not work out, so he is back at Valhaven.. The staff here is caring and does a good job of caring for my brother. At present the Social Services lady is doing her best to find an assisted living facility for my brother, who is on Medicaid, with no extra income.

1-25-18, Mom was put here for physical therapy. 3 days in, her I phone 5 comes up missing. After talking with moms room mate's daughter, i am sure it was stolen. Peggy told me her mom has had jewelry, perfume and misc. things came up missing. Tried to deal with this, spoke to Roger, on 2-2-18 head nurse in charge who told me to speak to Annie who was out of town until 2-13-18. Never received a call so i called today. Told Annie that the nurses rushed me to mark all of moms clothes, they were about to bathe her room mate, never mentioned writing on her cell phone or cane. Shady. Look elsewhere!
