We thank you for your service in taking care of the residents at Van Duyn. What you do is more than a job, it's a dedication of helping others with a compassionate heart.
As you walk through the doors of Van Duyn and enter the rooms and lives of each resident, we hope that when you exit those doors, you leave satisfied that you have touched the lives of people beyond their physical needs. They may not be able to thank you, so we as family members “thank you” for the care you give to each and every resident who counts on you every day from morning till night. Your daily commitment is not an easy role. Our goal as family members is to be able to leave our loved ones in your hands, knowing they are safe and cared for.
Again, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for your willingness in accepting your position, whatever it may be. We are grateful for those of you who take that extra effort to help the residents at Van Duyn.
I found that Ebony DeLee and Perla Cruz are two of the best CNA's Van Duyn could have. Very eager to make the residents as comfortable as possible. Also Tarana Aiken.
I thought the food was very good, my social worker was very good and I liked the therapy department. I also enjoyed the library and the views! I found their cleaning team to be very dedicated. My dietician went above and beyond to accommodate dietary requests. The receptionist on the 7th floor was very efficient.
Jamie, Tosha and Marilynn were a few of the aides that went above and beyond to make my stay at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing more comfortable. Overall, my stay was good.
