Had to goto Zephyrhaven after out first choice was full. I wish I made the hospital hold my mother for a few days more. Zephyrhave was bad, from the start my mother had to wait to use the bathroom to the Therapy department was very small. She had to share a bathroom with 3 other patients. Within a few days she had to return to the hospital and then the facility of our choice had a room open.

They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, staff was short with the family and that they couldn't wait for us to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. The waiting area here is rather cramped and had a terrible odor.. People often have to stand as there is not enough chairs.in the room. They left my mother alone ignoring the call button. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with my mother giving her the care she needs. It was very clear that they didn't take pride in their facillity appearance. In fact,it was disgusting. Staff had the gull ti threaten us when we removed our mom from thier facillity telling us they were calling DCF and that we would be getting the bill because we were loosing our insurance coverage. protect your loveones and find another facillity for them. . We found a much better facillity 10 min. away where our mother coninues to improve.

It's shocking how little the Zephyr Haven management seem to care about customer service and family concerns! From my experience, it would seem that they place the needs of customers and families at the very bottom of their list of priorities! They were cold, unsympathetic to our needs, and seem to care more about their bottom line than the families they serve! It became obvious to me that they are just looking for the most docile "bodies" to fill up their facility which require the least amount of effort on their part to care for! I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to our situation and understand where we were coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about the needs of my 87 year old father, or what me and my family were going through! The management of this facility is cold, uncaring and I do NOT recommend it!

The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best
