She mostly addressed behaviors, and not too much of deep emotions. When I expressed my emotions , she was quick to recommend depression meds and when I refused she continued to pressure me and even tried to have my husband agree with her that meds would be good for me. When we both refused, she subtly, insinuated that we think about making another appointment. If you need to learn new behaviors to communicate in a more effective way, then she has a lot of exercises to help. But to get to the root of your emotions and dealing with them I would not recommend this therapist.
