In mid-July I decided to go from dark/black brown hair to blonde. I visited a few of the higer priced salons in Warrenton first, but they refused to color my hair. Then I went to the Hair Cuttery, and Heather agreed to color my hair with lowlights and highlights. The process took several hours. Heather was very patient and explained everything to me. I left the salon looking like a movie star. I was so shocked by how gorgeous my hair turned out that I couldn't stop looking in the mirror. Heather, for all of her young years, is amazing colorist, and I highly recommend her to everyone. Even the other stylists (who saw me when I arrived with dark brown hair) were amazed at how beautiful my new blonde color turned out. Great job, Heather! Thanks so much.

I had called on a Thursday to see when they were open until. I was told 9:00pm so I asked if I should book at appointment or if I would be ok to just walk in, she said I could just come in. When I got there, there were 4 people waiting and no one even contacted me. I stood there for about 10 minutes before someone else was contacted first, and told that there would be an hour and 50 minute wait. Needless to say they closed in an hour and a half so I left. I then called to schedule an appointment for that upcoming Saturday. The lady I had cut my hair seemed very nice. I was excited to finally get my hair re-layered and my bangs cut. I didn't have her straighten my hair because I was in a rush to get out of there. When I had gotten home and straightened it, I realized that the layers were more of a "chop job" than anything. I was so embarassed because I had 3 lines across my hair that I wouldn't even call layering. My bangs were cut straight across, and my hair was not curved around my face AT ALL like I asked. I was so upset about how my hair looked, so I went somewhere else to pay $30 to FIX what she did.... Do NOT recommend this place unless you want a simple simpleeee cut.

Yes, she/he even massaged my scalp. It felt great!

The staff here was very nice and when checking in I asked the stylist for a faux-hawk haircut. She mentioned if the stylist didn't know how to do it they would ask another stylist to do the cut. Well that didn't happen! The stylist that took me back asked what I wanted and I told her "faux-hawk". She said ok, I asked if she knew how to do it, and she replied "yes". She started out as if she knew what she was doing, but that changed once she got out the scissors. She began trimming at an angle, but quickly changed to just cutting it straight accross. When all was said and done I walked out with a faded high and tight. What really stinks about this is I grew my hair out for 3 months to make it easier on the stylist. They definitely pressured me to buy products that I didn't need.

I use their waxing services for myself and get my children's hair cut there. They are always kind and courteous. Mina and Nazareen are especially wonderful.

I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I was happy that I got in for a follow-up appointment because it helped a lot. However, had I not made the appointment, there never would have been one. It would've been nice if they would have recommended one. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. They styled my hair exactly how I asked. I went out right after and got so many compliments.
