This is a mistake I won't be making again. So, at first things looked pretty good; I told the hairstylist what type of hair I wanted with clear details and a good picture of it (I was super excited). She seem to understand fairly well and was optimistic. So of course, I did the worst thing ever and got my hair done there. Apparently, good customer service does not mean ALL service will be good! I was so disappointed.

My hair was nothing at all and not even close to the hairstyle I wanted! It was like the whole time I had shown her the picture, she was looking at a very different one. The braiding style was different (the most important part), the way in which I wanted it to be fashioned was different. Just freaking everything different. And now, I'm going to be stuck with a hairstyle for months that I freaking hate! Wasn't I tricked well.

So, advice: if you're thinking of getting any braiding done and/or are one to go for styles that are different or alt. sub-cultured, this is probably not the place to go to. Also, if the hairstylist seems to be confused for a while, even if it's a short while, LEAVE! You definitely want to trust your instinct in this.

It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. I wasn't too happy with the beauty treatment I received. I paid for the service, but I won't be going back. They never made any effort to follow up with me after my visit and it made me feel very unimportant. I:m sure they are busy, but when you say you're going to follow up, you should.

A++++++++. After 15 years of searching Albuquerque for a qualified salon, thank goodness I found Shear Connection. From hair cuts to hair color, facials, manicures, pedicures and detoxes, the service could not be better. I have never experienced a more friendly and competent group of people. The place is meticulously clean and all services are a bargain. Why go anywhere else? Go to Shear Connection. You will not be disappointed.
